The presence of everyone in support of the homeless at the tent city site over the last few days has been a big success. There were no arrests or citations by police and I believe our presence played a big part in that.
Police will not be arresting or citing any one at the current location. Almost all of the campers have packed up and either moved into the overnight shelter or dispersed to other areas. We are calling off the vigil and asking everyone to attend the Safe Ground rally on Tuesday April 21, 2:00pm at the State Capital South Steps. www.sacloaves.org/safeground
