Summer or winter, day by day, our programs quietly go about the business of helping the poorest of the poor:
* A confused and elderly woman is helped by Maryhouse staff to re-connect with far-off family.
* A young man who's been hired at a restaurant gets a shower, shave and clean clothes at the Men's Washhouse.
* Hundreds of men, women and children stream into the Dining Room for a filling lunch served by friendly volunteers.
