Mayor Johnson Sleeps With Homeless

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson spent the night with some of the SafeGround campers last night. Fox40s Natalie Bomke did a special report – watch the video below.

Sacramento SafeGround needs your assistance in providing some basic (and not-so-basic) supplies and equipment for our homeless neighbors, to support them as they work together to achieve SafeGround for all unsheltered Sacramentans.

All items donated will be used for the SafeGround initiative, gently used items in serviceable condition are most welcome, as SafeGround embraces a green, sustainable, low-carbon-footprint model whenever possible.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and compassion for our un-sheltered neighbors in need. Items can be delivered to Loaves & Fishes (1321 North C Street, Sacramento) weekdays between 700am and 300 pm, please indicate they are SafeGround donationst.
